Hot. So. Very. Hot. It was in the mid-90s yesterday. And before my fans in California, Arizona, and Texas start in trying to one-up me heatwise, I will point out that here in Washington, we don't have air conditioning or evaporative coolers. We have box fans.
My laptop shut itself down (presumably to prevent overheating and damage). In the sitting room. The room with all the fans. I wish I could shut myself down until it gets cooler. The weather channel says we have another week and a half of this.
Mom and Dad came down to Olympia and took me and the kids to the Lacey McDonalds (the one that has a playroom). The kids had a blast.
We are all downstairs, but that doesn't seem to make much difference so far.
