Good news everybody!
As you all know, Corey was laid off from Microsoft. Microsoft agreed to continue his pay and medical coverage for 60 days while he looked for another job within the company (ending July 1st).
He had an interview with the Zune team last Thursday. He was supposed to hear from them within 72 hours and know whether or not they had hired him. Yesterday (Tuesday), he sent an email to the HR person saying that he had not heard from anybody. They told him that maybe a decision hadn't been made yet, but keeping looking for another opening.
This afternoon, he got an email that said he has been accepted by the team! He will start no later than July 2nd.
What a relief!
Ok. Now all good energy and prayers are to be directed towards Beverly and her efforts to get that house she and her mother put a bid on...
