(no subject)
Ten minutes ago, it was sunny here. Corey was downstairs making some coffee when we heard a long peal of thunder. Now it is dark, windy and raining. And it's only 3:40 pm. There is a nasty storm in the works, I think.
I took the kids to the dentist for their check-up. Neither has cavities (hooray!) The dentist said that during Alexander's next appointment (in April), we will discuss orthodonture. Dr. Kapust can't do anything yet, because one of Alexander's top teeth (not the middle ones, but the ones to the side) hasn't erupted.
Dang! It is raining HARD. I have a new CD in my player, but I can't hear it over the rain coming down on the sunlight.
I dropped Alexander off at school. It took so long at the dentist's that Amanda would only have had about 20 minutes of class before her preschool day ended, so I didn't take her there.
I went to GameStop and got the DS Zelda game they were holding for me. Amanda insisted on being carried from the car to the store and back again. "Mom! I'm NOT heavy!"
Speaking of which, the dentist's office weighed and measured the kids. Alex is 4'6" and weighs 60 pounds. Amanda is 3'3 1/2" and weighs 30 pounds.
I will have to go out in the torrent outside and meet Alexander's bus in about ten minutes. I am not looking forward to it.
