Little Miss Sunshine
I've been wanting to see this movie for some time. It seemed like it might be funny. It got rave reviews. A number of my friends saw and enjoyed it.
I can't imagine why.
Other than the last five or ten minutes, I barely found the movie tolerable. I was entirely bored. I never cared about any of the characters. Preeminent Proust Scholar? WTF? It took me half the movie just to figure out what he was even saying. And then when I did, I regretted wondering in the first place. I think we've hit upon something here. Maybe it's just too subtle. I don't know. I am pretty sure I will die happy (or at least happier) if I never see Greg Kinnear again.
My only solace is that I only spent two dollars.
