(no subject)
Thank goodness it's FRIDAY! I love the weekends so much. I have MSU papers to write and more online job applications to finish. Sounds exciting, eh? I am very pumped for church tomorrow. It's amazing how Riverview is the highlight of my week. God is doing such awesome things there and I am thankful I've been able to be a part of it the last 5 years. I will be so sad to leave.
I didn't want to write about this because I don't want to jinx myself, BUT here we go anyway :) I got an awesome lead on a possible job at the job fairs this week. I met some amazing people from Stafford, Viriginia who were so nice - two principals and a teacher. I didn't feel as welcomed at other district tables than I did with them. It was kind of weird! I had an interview that apparently went really well because they want me to come down there to visit. Stafford is 40 miles south of Washington D.C. From the research I've done online, it looks amazing. Hopefully I'll be going down there in the next few weeks to check it out. I feel pretty good about it, even though it is 10 hours away from home. I don't know. When I think about it too much, I start to get scared, but for the most part I am VERY excited. We'll see what happens. It's going to require a lot of prayer! It's amazing how God opens doors in your life that you never expected. I am so excited to see where He takes me these next few months. It's going to be a wild ride for sure!
Only 2 weeks of student teaching left!!!
