I want to go play outside all day in the sun, run barefoot on the warm grass, fly a kite, swim in a lake, lay down and do nothing for one whole hour but watch the clouds pass by, I want to chase down the ice cream man with a hand full of change and eat ice cream without stressing about what it will do to my figure, I want to play in the sprinklers, I want to draw with chalk, I want to sleep in until the sun from my window forces me from my bed...which I want to later transform into a fort, I want to play red rover and hot lava monster, I want to hula hoop, I want my nose and cheeks to be kissed with a light sunburn,I want to do everything and nothing productive at the same time and not worry about where my life is going, what needs to be done, do I have enough money to put gas in my car for the week...

I guess those days are over, bummer...growing up sucks...

maybe peter pan will fly through my window tonight and take me away to simpler times
