Title: It's the perfect denial
Author: Wanderlustlover
Characters: Marian/Robin
Challenge: 27 C [Beautiful life - 30 Seconds to Mars]
Rating: G
Notes: Set inside 2x01. Not too spoilery, but it references important parts.

“Listen,” she pleads, head shifting.

“What?”

She leaned in and kissed Robin, hands possessively tight against his cheeks.

“The little voice-saying yes; when the king is home, safe.”

Then there are quick steps and she is gone.

He is going to hate this-

The way she said the words like a true soldier. The way she never cried when she was dying. The fact she’s right about having a spy on the inside. The fact if Marian thinks someone should be doing something that helps, she’ll volunteer herself first.

-even as he loves her all the more for it.

Title: If I Look Hard Enough Into The Setting Sun
Author: Wanderlustlover
Characters: Guy, Marian, Robin
Challenge: 25 C [Rolling Stones - Paint it Black]
Rating: 15
Notes: Continuation of Lovers in a Dangerous Time. Different part of the scene, different person. Which means a third and final piece may come sooner or later.

It was not too dark, in the pre-dawn hours, to watch them sleeping.

They were more alike in the shadows than he’d ever thought they might be. Dark night hair framing pale drawn, so often serious, faces relaxed in the din of dreams. Curled back to back, murmuring and breathing.

Trust me, she said, and he said, I do.

More than he anyone else, save Much, Robin thought, as his fingers dropped from caressing Marian’s cheek to linger, ghostly, at the long, ugly scar inside Gisborne’s forearm, where it was prone over her side.

How strangely alike were they all?

Title: Scars
Author: Wanderlustlover
Characters: Marian, Guy, Robin
Challenge: 24 B [Word: Responsibility]
Rating: G-ish
Notes: Nothing really to say. No time place, just some meta really, with possibly any of three pov's or none at all

The world said it was about hearts-jealousy, ownership, vows-but they had marked their chains in blood, and consequences.

Robin bore his deep and wide on a side. A sword slammed into him which stole his lord and deepest loyalty.

Marian’s on her lower-right abdomen. The cost of angry vengeance. Gifting a death, a rebirth, and the unspoken fear for children.

Gisborne’s right forearm and beneath his left eye. Rebukes of duty and loyalty misplaced, haunting ghosts that would never forget.

They were chains that would never release.

They were the wounds only the three of them could heal.
