long post is loooong
first: the long delayed pics from Dragon*Con: (sorry, i'm not quite sure how to re-size them.)

Second: Work is still work~y.
Third: Home life took a turn for the "fuck this, i'm leaving!" and now I live all alone in my new little apartment. The bird does not like it. But until she pays the bills, i do like it and she just best pull up her big bird panties and deal. also, there are monstrously HUGE ducks, regular sized geese, and squirrels the size of small dogs all living in my new complex... the bird is reasonably freaked out. Oh, and i live on the "rich side of town". so now i can look down on people. yey!
Fourth: Achieved second job working at one of the best private gyms in town as a massage theripist. i make roughly $30 an hour plus tips. Also, yey!
Fifth: While not yet the Anniversary of my Eighteenth Birthday, my family and i are celbrating it this weekend. It was Goonies themed and it was MAGICAL. The 'rents set up a fire pit, an outdoor movie screen, and tons upon tons of bad for me food. Srsly, i ate half a hamburger, some coke, and even two Yoo-hoos. I am living dangerously, ya'all. (<-- people say ya'all 'round these parts.)
Everyone dressed as either a character from the movie, or as a pirate. Fun. frickin'. times. ^_^
Sixth: Now, while i have the house to myself, the entire internet at my disposal, and left over pizza to reheat, all i can think about is how i need to start packing up and heading back to the apartment. *sigh*
All and all, my life is on a MUCH more upward trend. New living arrangements, new budget, new job, and because i just reaped in all my birthday goodies, I have a new blender. ^_^
This next year is definitely going to be much better and much different from last year. I can finally say that i'm looking forward to not just the new me, but the new tomorrow. ...aaand wow! does that sound cheesy. i mean, it's true, but cheesy.
