OMGoodness I need a nap!
so, life happened and now i will tell you about it.
thing one: What little money i am saving while staying rent-free in C-ville is not enough to put up the bullshit.
ergo, thing two: I'm moving. i found a wonderful, amazing, fantastic apartment that i love love love.
But instead of moving into THAT place, i'm moving into something a bit more... reasonably priced. oh, and it has vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. the windows are short people friendly, but the kitchen was designed by a very tall and very skinny person. The pantry door wasn't even the breadth of my sholders. weird. meanwhile, the bathtub is new.
Thing three: Dragon*Con approaches and this pleases me. i will get to see Roomie as well as many other peeps that make me happy.
thing four: no one has fucking even called about hiring me! fuck! i have had two interviews and one i turned down the crazy lady and second guy just wanted to meet me and hold unto my resume. since then, no one has called. dammit! I recently (last night) left my resume with a chiropracter who is both smart and friendly, maybe he will hire me...
thing five: i have packed nearly all of my house except the closet and the bathroom. oh, and the bird. said bird thinks that all the packing means that she has to inspect every little thing before i'm allowed to tape the boxes closed. the Neice also helped. She loved the packaging tape dispenser thing.
lastly, thing six: sir cluckie (my car) is dying. I'm about to roadtrip to Atlanta. while there is never a good time to have your car die, just before a roadtrip certainly a bad time.
So, to sum up: yey! fuck! and need nap!
