two days of work, then anna is coming to visit for the weekend! so excited! not sure what we'll do yet, but she says she wants to learn to knit, so a trip to Knitty City will definitely be included. and if we're at Knitty City, we're only 2 blocks from Central Park, and she has to go there. it would be good to go to at least one museum, probably the Met because we can pay whatever we want.
yesterday I spent my day off watching tv/knitting, doing laundry, organizing papers/receipts. I went to a yoga class (not too impressed with the teacher, but like the yoga place), then Chana & I got sushi take out. yum. I watched this movie I'd DVRed from showtime called The Puffy Chair. It's a totally low-budget indie film about this guy and his girlfriend who take a roadtrip to pick up a lay-z-boy to take to his dad. it was pretty entertaining. I also watched My Date With Drew on the DVR--entertaining and cute.
oh, I almost forgot! I finished the mixed berry socks (aka biggest disappointment EVER). they're a full inch too long for my feet. so sad. hopefully sister will like them. they're drying right now and will be in the mail this weekend. :) pic up soon. I also finished the sleeves of the navy toddler sweater. I knit them simultaneously, and while they were on the needles they looked like pant legs. made me want to make baby pants. I have a couple super cute patterns, like this one here. maybe Miko's little fetus needs some blue pants
