It works like this, after you have made yor icons, you have to upload them to a site like Photobucket. Below the images you just uploaded, on mouse over, you'll see the links you need to copy-paste in your comment to the challenge post.
In the comment you have to post 2 links, one that starts with <*img src="http://your-image-here"> - without the *, this one will show your icon - and another one that starts with http://*your-image.here - without the *, that's the link to the icon -, something like the example below:
