A day in the life... (or: Redundant)
Hey everyone.
Quick update on my life.
The Apartment
So, one of our roommates, Jason, is moving out at the end of the week. Its not a huge deal, because our house is very much like a family who doesn't really get along, but still lives together. We run into each other in the kitchen, say hello or goodbye when we're leaving or coming home, but thats about it.
I'm not that broken up about it.
Heres the reason that I feel this subject is worth mentioning: Brandon, one of my other roommates and my closest friend in the house, casually suggested that our friend Ware, who is currently between housing situations, take the room that Jason is vacating.
Gee, I wonder who might have a problem with that...
For those who don't know, I used to live with Ware. Great guy, lousy roommate. when the subject was mentioned, however, I decided to be an idiot and say that I had no problem with living with Ware again. MISTAKE!!!!! It looks like we've already got someone else lined up for the room, but if that falls through, Ware is going to be offered the place.
Lucky for me, if by some stroke of luck Ware actually wants to move in, he has to be approved by our landlord, who in turn has promised that he won't be letting anyone move in if they are not first approved by all of the roommates.
I wonder how many people will go deaf after I scream "NO!" at the top of my lungs?
The Marine
Adam shall be living here, at the blue house, when he comes home for the 4th of July.
I have humbly opened my door to him after I heard the bitchfest my mother decided to have when he was originally going to to go stay with my Dad. I told him that he should stay with me so that he'll be in St. Paul, close enough that Ma can come see him, but far enough that she doesn't drive him crazy. Also, Dad is now working in Roseville, so its easier for him to visit as well.
That, and I promised a few local friends that we would go out to a party while he was in town.
