Ebony & Ivory
So I've officially terrified myself. I was thinking about alcohol, (as I so often do) and I realized that, in someone else's hands, my latest amusing thought could be turned into a very good argument supporting racism.
Here was the thought:
When drinking hard liquors, it is important not to mix dark and light liquors, lest ye want to blow phenomenal chunks.
You see where I'm going with this one???
A hardcore, KKK, White supremacist leader could easily switch this around and say that such common knowledge is an allegory for interracial relationships.
Can't go ahead and mix the whites and darks now can we?
I thought this was funny, but then I realized how horrible that would be.
I feel like a jackass now.
