I've just seen a face...

I finally moved. Its good fun, but after every change in living situation, I have a bout of depression. It varies in severity, depending on distance from last residence, knowledge of the area, and the number of people that I know in said area.

This most recent dip has only been a medium-sized depression. That being said, it still sucks. It also doesn't help that a day after the move I came down with the worst cold/flu/thingy I've had in years. I'm pretty sure I used a small treeful of tissue this weekend.

The weirdest thing about this move though, has been meeting new faces. Not just my new roommates, though that is an odd story given the nature of the house, but the people in the neighborhood. Does anyone else get used to the same gas station attendant, or grocer? I'm used to walking into the store, saying hi to Nicole, my old SA cashier, and just saying I need smokes. Then she would grab my parliaments off the shelf, offering me a rewards card, even though she knows I won't take it, and ring me up.

Its a small thing to miss about your old neighborhood, but its still noticeable.

I'm all moved in...and yet I feel as though I've forgotten something...

Ta.
