A good day.
So I promised that I would write a "happy" blog. Well, here ya go.
I signed the lease for my brand new apartment today. Its a tall blue house right across the street from the Hamline University football field. I like it because I'm moving in with a friend of mine, and I'm excited to finally live with people whose sole purpose in life isn't to get wasted every single night.
I haven't met everyone in the house, but that doesn't matter to me right now. I'm just glad that I'm no longer in living situation limbo. Right now, I'm at my mother's, sleeping on her couch because I didn't want to bother bringing my bed in the house. Also, I find the couch more comfortable than the spare bed she does have.
I don't know whats going to happen about kitchen space though. I decided after the last place I lived that I wasn't going to try and share kitchen space anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to purchase a microwave and mini fridge, let alone all new dishes and silverware. (Long, complicated story short: All of my old dishes got lost in the move.) If anyone has got some spare dishes and silverware, or even a mini-fridge, lemme know. I could use them.
Actually, I feel good about this. I'm starting over. I'm finally done with awkward house, (inside joke) and I'm ready to be free and on my own again.
I am, in fact, happy again. For however long this may last.
