Robin had had enough. The house, while not filthy, wasn't nearly as clean as she would like it. And since Christmas was right around the corner, she would feel really guilty calling in a cleaning service. So she would do it herself.
"Anyway, it should look clean for when Ashley comes back, though when that'll be, I still don't know..." she thought to herself, heading downstairs. She was finished tying a kerchief over her head, to keep the dust off. Besides, it looked quite trendy.
She paused in the foyer, which opened to the large dining room on the right. It was there she had placed the aluminum Christmas Tree. She looked at it sadly, as she wouldn't be going home for Christmas this year. Again. Dad said he was sorry, but just had to work overtime, and her mom was on a business trip. As usual.
"Ashley is probably going to be with her family for Christmas... that just leaves me and a hopefully spotless house. Jeeze, I get these cleaning urges at the strangest times." She giggled to herself, and then headed down the basement steps, where she was hoping to find some cleaning supplies.
Finding a likely closet door off to the side, she opened it to something that definently wasn't a supply closet...
