Nightwing #152
Written by: Peter Tomasi
Art by: Don Kramer
Release Date: January 14, 2009
A "Faces of Evil"issue!
In this epilogue to "Batman R.I.P."and "The Great Leap,"both Nightwing and Dick Grayson are forced to deal with startling and tragic recent events, and things will never ever be the same - especially with Ra's al Ghul involved!
Took me a moment to realise those aren't stats they're different cowls in each one... no idea what that last one is, but it's creepy.
I think these next two pages are a nice little contrasting variation on the Nightwing Two Face conversation last issue.
Awww.... Poor little woobie Nightwing... give him a hug... :(
So either A) Alfred is a lax housekeeper (Yeah right), B) Bruce forbade Alfred from ever cleaning that spot because of it's significance, C) Bruce regularly did something involving wax on that spot (What I cannot imagine... well, yes I can, but I'm not going to) or D) The Gotham Candle Company produces some mindbogglingly durable wax.
Yay! The bats have accepted him, truly he is the only worthy heir to the bat.... or does that last panel just mean a bat crapped on his shoulder? (Or is he going to assume that this is a warning that there's an intruder in the cave and he's reaching for his escrima stick?
Tune in next week and find out.
BTW LOVING Kramer's art here.... :)
But does look VERY nice doing it.
