The latest installment of Pelgrane Press webzine See P. XX is now available at an Internet near you. My eponymous column is this month devoted to Bid Contests, a mechanic originally developed for Ashen Stars. I cut it from that book after a big change to space combat diminished its relevance. However, it’s still useful in some situations.
