Life Imitates (Lame) Art

This image has been stuck in my head since I saw it sometime last week. It's a photograph of plumes of bomb smoke rising over Baghdad. It sticks with me because I can't help seeing two anthropomorphic figures duking it out in the dark clouds. You see it too, right? I followed the link without reading the rest of your sentence, just to see it before I went on, and my first thought was 'hey. burnt stay-puft marshmallow men battling it out.' So no, you're not alone in seeing that.

Then again I see things in other things all the time -- I see faces everywhere, and sometimes animals and even mythical/alien critters. Imagination is part of what makes images/photography/art (and everything) so very fascinating.
