Tell the truth about something you usually lie about.

That's easy-- but at the same time, it's not. So, here goes.

I'm Nightwing.

"What? That's crazy!" That's what you're thinking, right? Yeah. It's not that crazy because I'm not lying. Not this time. I'm sorry about all of the dates I've cancelled because business came up and because someone was in danger and because I couldn't just stand by and watch it happen. I'm sorry about all the promises I broke about spending more time with you and maybe even going out to play a good game of one-on-one basketball. It hurt you to just watch me leave you in the dust, but it hurt me more knowing that I had to do it.

But then, that's what being a superhero is all about: making sacrifices.

Alternatively, I'm Dick Grayson.

"What? That little orphan circus kid that Wayne picked up? You're kiddin', right?" Yep, that's me, but I'm not kidding 'cause I'm not lying this time. Sorry to disappoint you, but Nightwing's secret identity isn't as amazing as the secret identities of Batman and Green Arrow. Nah. You wouldn't expect two super rich guys to be out doing vigilante work, or maybe you would, but the poor kid that lost his parents because of a criminal is oh so pent up with revenge and it's so predictable and all the same so pathetic, right?

Yeah, you try walking in these shoes for a while. It's not easy lying about everything you are and everything you do.

I'm sorry I have to lie to keep myself and everyone around me from being hurt-- I wish it could be a different way... but I'm not sorry that what I do has helped so many people in the process.

Too bad it's impossible to really say this to you.
