And thanks to some stuff I had saved up in the bank, and the fact running a random every day since 70 (and not doing much else with her) had built up 80 triumph badges, and a friend crafting me some bracers, I had a pretty decent level 80 day one gear jump:
I mean, she's not ready for prime time yet, she can't even queue for all the heroics yet (The dreaded "You must obtain better gear before you can queue for this instance" message). But not bad for her first day at endgame. I'm looking for somebody to craft the Crusader's Dragonscale Breastplate next. I spent my 80 badges on the T9 helm & shoulders, because the 2p T9 bonus is love (serpent sting ticks can crit.) The 4p bonus isn't worth it, so I'll probably be doing what crafted gear I can and buying the 245 pieces you can buy with triumph badges.
