Aaron Sorkin takes Obama over his knee and spanks him with a fictional President

Ok, i didn't watch The West Wing. Shock and dismay, I know. I just wasn't interested at the time, and the show was mostly over before I clued into the genius of Aaron Sorkin (via Sports Night reruns on Comedy Central.) Someday, I intend to buy the DVD sets of West Wing and watch them, becuase i'm fairly sure I'll enjoy it.

Via dilemma, NY Times Op-Ed columnist Maureen Dowd cedes her column to Mr. Sorkin, asking him to script an encounter between flailing Democratic nominee Obama and fictional Democratic ex-President Bartlet:

BARTLET Senator.

OBAMA Mr. President.

BARTLET You seem startled.

OBAMA I didn’t expect you to answer the door yourself.

BARTLET I didn’t expect you to be getting beat by John McCain and a Lancôme rep who thinks “The Flintstones” was based on a true story, so let’s call it even.

Hopefully that's enough of a teaser promo for you to go read the whole article, it's worth it, particularly the end bit. :)
