The twenty-second prompt is: Five recesses, four calls to Father, three lunch tickets, two brand new pencils, and a desk for all of my books. Oddly, this has no real dialogue, but I love it nonetheless.
I think perhaps this is my favorite of everything you've written for NaNoWriMo so far. I especially loved the image of the narrator having to take really big steps to step into her lover's footprints. Wheeee, heart-warming.
I think it's my favorite, too. I also think it's the longest and most involved. I liked that image. This piece almost made *me* believe in Christmas magic, but I still don't.
