A quick catchup of the last month and a half of my life:
- Got my 1st semester grades:
2nd Language Acquisition - A
Italian - A-
Human Genetics - A-
Social Foundations of Education - B+
Calculus 2 - C+
- I’m satisfied with them, my class average for calc was 68 (teacher SUCKED). So a C+ is good, I suppose.
New York City (December 15-18) with Brian = Amazing.
- Stayed at a hostel, 6 person rooms, we shared the room with people from Australia, Italy, and France… so cool.
- We saw pretty much everything while we were there, we walked/rode an amazing amount.
- I love Rockefeller Center and Times Square.
- The concert we went to (MARTIN SEXTON) was amazing as well, except the tallest people in the world were in front of us.
- Saturday we went to a party in Jersey, good times, Screwdriver Beer Pong = bad idea, rode back on the PATH & Subway that night = yucky.
- Sunday we left and drove around NY for a bit then met w/Brian’s friend from HS for dinner on Long Island.
- Walked Central Park = Beautiful.
- Hostel Public Bathrooms = my favorite.
Christmas/New Hampshire:
- I left Ithaca at 4pm on the 23rd (around 2 that afternoon decided Brian would come with)
- Christmas with my family & Brian = Fun.
- Brian won the $100 gift certificate though…. Ironic.
- My parents fed Brian beer after beer after hard liquor the whole time we were there.
- I got some cool shit, no doubt.
- Saw very few people though, sad, only Laura, Jess, and the Plummers.
- Went bowling - I won.
- Lots of board games with sister, bro-in-law, Brian, bros, and rents.
New Years/North Conway/Dave’s
- Left Brookline on the 29th for North Conway to Brian’s friend Daves.
- Spent New Years there.
- Played Video Power Hour.
- Went to a bonfire/beruit/pool party on New Years Eve.
- Brian and I explored the White Mountains… until he fell in the water (I laughed, you’d be proud).
- Left for Brookline the 1st.
Last stop in Brookline.
- Stopped home to pick up all of our stuff to go back to Ithaca College
- Packed the car and left for Plummers
- Hung out/watched Patriots/Chatted for a bit there.
- Then left for Ithaca again.
Since then;
- I have been working 40 hours weeks for some pocket money.
- Doing stocking, inventory, cash registering, etc at the bookstore before book rush starts
- Come home at 5 to Brian, we make dinner, watch tv/movie, do a puzzle/play a game.
- Saw two movies: GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK & BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
Now, back the reality of school. NEW SCHEDULE:
Mondays & Wednesdays & Fridays:
09 - 950: Ethics
11 - 1150: Architecture: Catacombs to Cathedrals
12 - 1250: Calculus 3
01 - 150: Italian 2
02 - 350: Problem Solving with Technology (NOT FRIDAYS)
Tuesdays:
110 - 200: Calculus 3
Thursdays:
825 - 915 : Italian 2: TA Session (required, which is stupid)
