i have a rich fantasy life.
currently i'm obsessed with this woman and her family in australia who lived in an urban environment and totally went "off the grid." they decided not to spend any money at'tal on "unnecessary expenses." more here: http://www.lintrezza.com/achieve.html
i think we're going to try something similar. after lent. there's only so much a gal can take ya know... so, we'll figure out a list of must haves. see, while they could bike places and such, we totally can't. so, a modified experiment.
you can see where i'm going with this right? yep. i'm totally researching the cost of chickens and plants for the garden. but i've ruled out a goat. gee, boy, howdy are goats expensive. according to my co-worker, the cost of goats has really gone up the past few years... which totally sucks. it's a much better fantasy if i get to make goat cheese.
the leon is mocking me. but he will be converted. you'll see. he's gonna love having chickens...
