Colin and Sally Sparrow!
Okay, I actually feel like posting and about a fannish thing believe it or not. So, tonight I watched the Oscars - first time in like 15 years. I so wanted to see Colin Firth. That crush I had on him when I was young. So not over it!!!!. Anyway I watched the pre-show hoping to see him walk the carpet, but they did not show him, or at least the station I had on. But who did they show - Sally Sparrow! Yep, apparently young Carey Mulligan. And might I saw she was looking a hell of a lot like Ith when I first met her.
And, then Colin gets to intro Carey's film.
To bad he lost to Jeff Bridges. I actually saw both The Single Man and Crazy Heart. Not that Jeff's performance wasn't good, it is just Colin's performance was better - more nuanced and difficult. Lot of English accents and such which was good, the awards are going international.

Now, back to the taxes I totally ignored tonight.
