Update in case anyone is interested.
Well finished the last of three cross country trips (CA, WA, Az) in three weeks. This one was 4 days in Phoenix schmoozing with clients and co-workers. When a co-worker asked how it was - my response, "Matt, think me having to smile for 4 days!", well he LOL.
With everything going on at work, this was very hard. It meant having to "socialize with my boss". But I held my tongue and did the best I could to avoid him. The scariest time came Saturday at the pool. As we were all sitting and talking with clients, there was an empty chair next to me. As I saw him approach, I put a book and towel on it so he would not sit there. I think he saw me, but he did a weave and headed in the other direction. I never said he was dumb, just "rude insensitive and unprofessional".
Anyway, plan ride home sucked. It was 100% full. As always guy in Middle seat was very broad shoulder (usually a nice trait but not on a 5 hour flight) and the air system was messed up so the 6 rows were were in were 98 plus degrees while the rest of the plane was cool. It was torture.
Vacation coming up - yeah! Off to Florida, WDW, for visit with friend from N Carolina in a week and a half.
Other then that, still no closing letter from HR, still sleeping 2 nights a week at Grandmothers and found out a friends husband has cancer (sucks hugely) and the prognostic is not good.
