I was so excited to wall around a corner in my local barns and nobel and saw RoadKill sitting there on a nice cardboard display! Grabbed it an all but ran for the check out, way to excited to get home and read it. Know it's going to be awesome, thanks so much for these kick ass characters and stories.

i'm not a computer expert, but no, i don't think you can make it safe. you can make it a bit more complicated to share/leak/spread, but can't prevent it once you let it out.

i'm overseas, so i can't influence Roadkill's rating, but for chrissake, what kind of a fucked up system you have there???!! buying online doesn't count, buying before the official release date doesn't count (and why the hell do the books even make it out before the official release date then? O_o).. it's all SOLD after all, what's it matter how and when? that's just.. weird. and bullshit like this decides the fate? crazy. while other "established" writers can put out any piece of barely edited crapfest that doesn't score over 2&1/2 stars on amazon year after year? ehm..

Gah! went to the local chapters to get roadkill at lunch...i only had half an hour but i was a girl on a mission..

i couldn't find it on the shelf so i am thinking maybe its just not out on the shelf yet.

did a quick search on their computer

and there are only 2 copies in the whole city! How can that freaking be... don't they know how awesome this books are!?

But where it really sucks is the one book store that has them is at the other end of the city ... i work till 5 and they close at 5:30.

there is totally no way i can get a copy till tomorrow at the earliest.

man this sucks....
