A brilliant rehearsal on Wednesday night. We are all now I think getting our characters, and it's becoming slicker. A few people are on holiday next week though, which will make things a bit difficult.
I finally bit the bullet today and joined the gym of the Marriott hotel on the other side of the road to my apartment. It turns out that Altolusso residents get a special deal, so it's £30 a month for me to be able to use all the facilities, including a rather nice swimming pool (which was my main objective).
Things I've noted: The only soap I follow can now be viewed online, every episode staying up for a whole month, so no more missing Emmerdale for me!:
http://www.itv.com/emmerdale/ And the second series of "People Like Us" has just surprisingly come up for download on UK Nova. Some weird judgement in the timing, considering who voices the role of Roy Mallard, but it's neverthess it's a wickedly funny series - a spoof documentary following the fortunes of different professions each week (sort of, like The Office, only with new casts each episode).
Series two includes: (as Flipster knows) "The Journalist", featuring Nicola Walker, and also included in series two is "The Mother", starring Tamsin Greig and, best of all, "The Actor", starring David Tennant as a down-on-his-luck, clueless performer who couldn't act his way out of a paper bag.
Flipster: let me know if you'd like a copy! :)
