As James recently put it: "Demodelers are remolishing" parts of our house.
Both the downstairs and the "master" bathroom are mostly ripped back to the studs. They should be finishing that up tomorrow. There's now a truly odd smell downstairs, which is apparently emanating from the concrete - they probably liberated something tearing up the truly horrid tile-work. It smells a bit epoxy-like. The door is shut, and the window open - we'll see how that goes.
And, of course, I'm finally getting to sign off on the final design docs tomorrow, including the seven change orders. . . which add about 7% to the original contract price. I guess I should be happy - I did much worse damage to myself with change orders when we did the kitchen!
