I've booked our flight to Venice - direct to Paris on Air France, and then the commuter hop to Venice. 12 hours going out, and 14 hours coming back. Special web-fare and everything! We'll have 10 full days there, and the apartment looks awesome.
The only tiny quirk is that we have to be on the plane out of Marco Polo at 7am - which will probably mean taking the bus out of the train station - the launches don't run that early. . . eh, whatever - we'll figure it out.
