And one day it just made sense
A little over 3 years ago I met these amazing people who took me in and accepted the person that I was. Yet, they constantly taught me an education that I didnt even realize the impact of until 5 days ago really. I was a lost kid back then when I was right at the cusp of 20/21 years old. I had a direction in my life that I wanted to go, Im still going in that direction. Now Im just more focused and more educated on how to get there. I only wonder what it has been like for these 2 to watch me grow over these years.
So this brings me to the whole point of this entry.
Back towards the end of last year, one of my acquaintances started to become one of my friends. We had never actaully talked other than the normal raver talk at a rave/party. This talk was different, more intellectual, deeper and meaningful. It was that night that I accepted him for who he was, BUT I saw who he really could be, given the opportunity and the education. So I took him under my wing, so to speak. Started letting him know some of things Ihave been taught and helped me grow up. Slowly, I started bringing him around my closest of closest friends; letting them have conversations where he could get more education.
Im proud and extremely happy to say that in just a few short months I have seen my friend grow, mature and take a new outlook on his direction in life. This young man will go far and I smile because I have got to watch him grow. It feels nice!
