Rob's Art Lessons has another new article up. This week's is on planning a painting. I illustrated it with preliminary drawings for Lauren's Wombat and discussed what doing all these preliminaries does for my paintings. So have fun! I seem to be updating both of these weekly toward the end of the week, so that's a really good thing. It's getting steady.
Since it's daily art OR writing, that's something accomplished.
I also cleared out the three shelf organizer and moved that into the bathroom where it's now holding art supply catalogs, magazines and books instead of the big loose stack that was sitting on top of the tub. Reorganized what was on the shelves and discovered my Pan Pastels trays fit perfectly on the top tray - very, very accessible now. This is a good thing. I love that cart on rollers, if I want something on it I can roll the whole thing up next to me. Then push it out of the way when I'm done.
I like getting something accomplished every day, now that the weather's better I really am getting more done even if I don't always feel good. The difference is what I can do when I push.
