October Sketchbook in a Month Challenge!

Oct 02, 2010 17:03

I made myself an extra challenge this year - to fill a sketchbook in a month. So I'm not just doing daily art but trying to average about two pages of it a day. I've got a 50 page Pentalic Nature Sketch sketchbook with 130lb unsized all-media paper. It's heavy enough to take even large washes, like when I washed that first page I did in Derwent Watercolour Pencils. I finished that page at about 2am on October 1st and then wound up too wiped out to do anything else yesterday.

I've got a bad cold and this is a time of year the weather's running me down on top of it. I also went out on a grocery trip so I threw my back staying on my feet too long. Sorry I didn't post this yesterday.

These next three pages are what I did today, all in Derwent Graphitints.
