Today's Five Minute Art!
ACEO Mermaid Dark Lorelei Five Minute Art is the third in my Five Minute Art series, which will continue until I get 100+ unique feedback points on eBay. Today I am up to 82 feedback points and have bids on both of the previous five minute drawings, both from buyers whose handles I'd never seen before! That rocks. I think this is going to work!
They're coming out well too. I don't decide what I'm going to draw till I pick up the paper, then work fast to get it down. This time I did her entirely from imagination and she still came out with grand proportions and a definite gothy spookiness! Raven hair and a freaky attitude, and the PGness of the drawing is a random accident. In her world she doesn't bother with seashell bras or anything Disneyesque, instead she dances to her strange music in a brown kelp forest and likes being the Dark Lorelei.
She's almost got me writing a story with her in some of the listing descriptions on the eBay groups posts... like the others, I'm definitely keeping the scan to see what else I can do with the concept working from the five minute art!
