Most of these neat little contests are in eBay Groups. Theme Week is a monthly event at ACEO Art Cards & Editions group. "Art on a Plate" ends this month and is a contest in the same group, which has a lot of neat little contests. NibbleFest Art Contest is its own group and I found it when a friend of mine posted her entry in the "January Listings" thread, though I'd seen mentions of it in December but didn't know where to look.

Sign in at eBay and then from My Ebay look at the very top right of the page where there are five menu bars. Mouse over them, the one for "Community" is right next to "My Ebay" and at the bottom of that drop-down is Groups. Once on the Groups page, it'll show some random groups but you can search by topic, type in "ACEO" and it'll show ACEO Art Cards & Editions, and ACEO/ATC Enthusiasts. Enthusiasts is almost as large and has many of the same members, but it has theme weeks and they change too fast for me to keep up with them. The tone of the discussions is a little different, and I spend more time in ACEO than Enthusiasts. So much so that they made me a mod in ACEO.

Thanks! I'm going to check those out. I'm looking to get involved in some more stuff, since I lost my job I'm going to try to sell some art too, so I need all the ideas and inspiration I can get!
By the way, I kept meaning to mention, I know I said I was going to let you know when I uploaded some stuff to deviantart. I forget if I was supposed to message you here or over there, but I have a couple little things up there now if you haven't seen them! Here is a link: http://mythsofthunder.deviantart.com/
And thanks again for the info! :)

Oh coolness! Yay, thanks for the link to your DeviantART posts. I'm looking forward to seeing them. It doesn't matter if you put it in a comment here or note me there, I check my notes there and I also check my LJ comments because I get emails on them. :)

Looking forward to seeing your entries! NibbleFest Art Contest is always on the 20th so you have time to do something on the theme of "My Secret Garden." I've had a couple of ideas and neither of them have anything to do with the famous orphan girl coming of age novel. One is to do a prison exercise yard where someone pushed dandelion seeds into a crack so they'd grow and bloom and be something green and gold in the concrete. The other would be to choose a fantasy out of My Secret Garden, Women's Sexual Fantasies compiled by Nancy Friday.
