Been doing art today
Here they are, my Raptors series in order:
1) Osprey
2) Bald Eagle
3) American Kestrel
It feels so good to be done with the third in this group. I'll be posting them on eBay tomorrow, it's a relist for the Osprey but I'm going to post all three in quick succession so that they more or less stay on the same page. For right now, I love how they look together even more than how they each look separately.
I also did two ACEO scratchboard pieces on the theme "Frost":
"ACEO Frost" and "ACEO Frost Noseprint" both have noseprints. The one to the left is already posted at eBay: ACEO Frost, but I made some mistakes to posting it for Theme Week including posting it too early -- can't post Theme Week items on theme till after 2:00am my time, so it's just on theme without being part of the contest. Still, I love how it came out. It's got cat noseprints, the second one has a Zoe noseprint and some Ari noseprints for comparison.
I'm enjoying this theme week contest, going to be doing Frost theme little pieces tonight and tomorrow. I can only post on Dec. 1 for it, but, I've got one ready so there is no great pressure about that, just fool around with the theme and then tomorrow afternoon go to the Lawrence Nanowrimo Finish Celebration, which is going to rock. I've never been to a Wrimo get-together and somehow getting to do the wrap-up with the book done at its planned length is the best way to start. Hehehe if I'm too tired afterward, I won't lose count!
