Grandmama at Tathra 10" x 7", Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils and watercolor on Arches hot press watercolor paper. Done for LilCrabbyGal.

That's two done, one to go. What's left is the largest: Portrait with Lorikeet and Frangipani, which has the underpainting finished and no colored penciling in on it yet. I'm seriously hoping to get this one done soon too, so that I can send all three of them together in time for Vanessa to get them before the holidays. Grandmama at Tathra is actually a present for the lady in the drawing, of her in her favorite place in the world. After all this time drawing her I feel as if I know her, she's very cool. Wild Aussie lady that looks like she could hike mountains, strangle crocs, that sort of thing. Love that grin.
