I find both your poems very beautiful, with such powerful and painful imagery. They brought tears to my eyes, maybe because of the bad moment I'm living right now.
I'm sorry that you're still so saddened by the things life keeps throwing at you, but I'm glad to know that my poems touched you. Thank you for your kind words. I hope things will be better for you soon.
How can I not be sad? Just when I had with great effort returned (more or less) normal again after what I had last year, my poor cat left me and I'm going to have breast surgery and I'm not sure what they will find. It's hard to think things will be better.
OMG! I am soooo sorry--I didn't know about the upcoming surgery. My Aunt had breast surgery a few years ago. Ultimately, everything turned out o.k., but I remember her fear and concern. I've been through several surgeries for "female issues" and am waiting on results from tests I had last week for another "problem". So, I sympathize with you and your health situation. I don't know what else to say, other than, I'm thinking about you and will keep hoping that you will be well and find your happiness again.
