Teagan Bernstein-Meachum was born Wednesday, February 21st, at 4:00 in the afternoon at eighty miles an hour on the eastbound side of I-88. Not willing to wait patiently to be birthed in Oak Park, she demanded to take direct action against car culture and the memory of Ronald Reagan. Accordingly, she caused the arrival of four ambulances, one firetruck, and one state trooper, bringing traffic to a standstill in both directions on the "Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway." When asked for comment, all she had to say was "aaagh! waagh! aaaaghhh!"
She weighed 9 pounds .4 oz and was 19.5 inches long at birth. In addition, she looked like a blueberry, but eventually turned a nice pinkish-y color. She is in perfect health, which is more that can be said about the backseat of the doula's car. Oops!
