I'm right here!
It's been a few weeks. I needed to go on vacation from school/work and get my head together and focus again. Taking time off from everything is certainly beneficial. Bought a digital camera, went to the shore, saw friends, went to parties. It's been fun. Even though I have lots of work coming up for this summer, I can say I'm having an enjoyable one. Been going to my friends pool quite a bit on the weekends. I think that's keeping me sane and relaxed. Plunging deep into blue water and sleeping in the sun really promotes not caring about anything. Which, sometimes, I'm very good at.
It turns out, my 'best friend' (i hate this term) from junior high and high school is moving back to this area with his husband by December. It will be nice to see him again. Even though he annoyed me right after high school through most of our young adult years. As i get older i realize how stupid and immature we all were. Not that I'm a complete bore, miss prim and proper now...but my immaturity now is somewhat controlled and done in a functional way. I'm not immature in ways that hurt me or how I'm living life...if that makes sense. Anyhoo, my friend and his family were always there for me when I was growing up so they have a sweet spot in my heart. We're all in different spots now, so it will be nice to have a fresh outlook on this friendship.
Anyway, enough schlock. Where's that can of cheese at?? FORGET THE CRACKER, JUST AIM IT IN MY MOUTH!
