It's been ages.
Fear not my friends, for I am alive and well, maybe not too well seeing as how i have a horrible throat and sinus thing going on right now. Never the less.
Here's the important news you've all been dying to hear!
I'm still in Portland.
I live on the streets.
I camp out in the woods and can be found every night at 6:00pm outside of city hall for the protest meetings.
I've been part of the homeless protest to repeal the sit/lie and camping city ordinances for about the last month. Before the police cam at 5:30 in the morning and swept everyone out, there were about 150 of us sleeping right on the sidewalks in front of city hall for three weeks.
I'm safe.
I eat all the time thanks to Portland's wonderful church community.
I'm also in a program geared towards helping me get my life back together.
Here's hoping that your life is going well.
because mine, despite the situations I find myself in, are going fantastically well.
