"Da Bear" ...and other news
Driving to work this morning, while flipping through my presets to listen to alternating "classic rock" and humorous talk radio, I came across a news story that was pretty funny, at least in the radio personality's clever delivery.
Amid the two minute news update at the top of the hour that consists of national and local points of interest, including weather and sports, the newscaster shared this little tale:
...apparently a family in Oregon discovered the dangers of leaving their window open in the summer, when they found that a bear had ripped out the screen and intruded into their home.
not funny... but wait...
the father of the family shot the bear after discovering it in the den!
...in the Den!! That can't be true! They're making that up! ... The Den!... get it? Priceless.
Anyway, there's my moment of immaturity for today
