Switzerland.

Just got back from touring Switzerland. In the german speaking parts they have a really cool way of talking. Since I got back I have been sick with an ear infection, most likely due to the earplugs that I wear on stage. I have been reading alot. I bought Anna the Anne Coulter book "How to talk to a liberal (if you must)." Her parents the well ( Read more... )

Not for nothing, but Anne Coulter is one of those people who'd be shitting teeth two days after she met me on the street. Seriously.

She, having never enlisted, has no standing to question anyone's goddamn patriotism, including mine, and I'm one of those liberals she's so fond of deriding.

But anyway...

Glad you made it through the land of well-timed chocolate okay. Fie on ear infections!

When's your album go on sale?

Well, we have a few albums. Ill send you one of our EP's. What's your address?
The new one will come out end this year, with three EPs in between.

I don't know about the criteria of having had to have enlisted for holding an opinion though, sounds dangerous. I didn't enlist, I'm pretty sure I still have enough standing to what needs to be done.

But...that brings us once again to Eisenhower who said, quite rightly that "you should never question a man's motives, just his wisdom."

I'm not saying she can't have an opinion about the correctness of my political ideas. I'm saying she can't question my patriotism. I'm a liberal, and the title of one of her books calls (U.S.) liberalism treasonous. I kinda have to take that personally.

I still believe in fighting words, Rob. Freedom of speech, in my opinion, runs the risk of getting the speaker's grill busted. The reason she can say that about liberalism in this country is because there are no famous public liberals willing to tell her to go fuck herself. When this country was founded, people got shot in duels for less.

She can say what you want about my ideas, but I signed the contract. She better not dare question my patriotism.

I'm the only one who can do that;-)

It's a book dude. She's a little bitty woman. She does have a big mouth but Let me ask you this, being a Borders Employee, have you ever actually read one of her books, or are you going on the title alone?

Posted. Yeah, Kev banned me. It's just like him though. He avoids confict. His dad, the schools he got kicked out of, every ex he ever had , his miserable luck at living with other human beings except your ex-girlfreind. As for the wife thing. Well she's his wife. She should defend him I guess, or he should defend himself. Whatever. He and Ralph Nader can go to the woods and howl their "war crys" together. Fuck it. I'm glad Kerry Lost. The less the Tampa Taliban likes Bush the more I like him.

How's things in Miami? When are you going to North Carolina? I just got out of work. I'll write more later.
