The time of the year has arrived again.
The wind strengthens as the nights lengthen. The telltale signs of the winter. Stuffed and drunken Thanksgiving and the decorating lights at the stores are all simply reminders of the season. The chill creeping up to you is the real signal that the end of year is on your doorstep.
As we're taught we begin to subconsciously summarize the gain and lost of this year, make some revelations and plan for the next. What did we do? How well did we do? Can we do it better? Will we be able to outdo ourselves in the next year? Reflect on the past and plan for the future. Forget the bad and hope for the better. Winter isn't a cold hopeless season. It's a beginning of a better year, if one chooses to believe so.
Today is World AIDS day. Please safe, kids.
By the way, I can use some help on screenname ideas. Anyone?
