Thurs......blah
So it is Thursday.....I am starting to come down from my high from Sunday. What? What did you say? Why was I high on Sunday? Well...I was enjoying the wonderful victory of my Super Bowl Champion Giants. Ok Steve I will stop......until Sunday when we game But anywhoo, we are due to game this weekend YAY!, and something new and exciting as well YAY YAY! I am sure either Steve or myself will have a recap (Steve). other than that, work has been slow. My Mom did call and let me know that she went down to the parade on Tuesday. What? What parade? Well the one in New York City for the aforementioned Super Bowl Champion Giants. (I lied to you Steve). And she let me know it was a blast and that she is sending me a care package, hopefully it will be something I can wear for Sunday.
In other news, I don't think I mentioned this but on Saturday night me and the missus went to see the Blue Jackets play. The seats we had were fan-freaking-tastic. 3 rows behind the Jackets bench, I wish I remembered to bring the camera. But it was fun as usual at a Jackets game, except the team played like crap on a stick. But part of the fun was listening to a Minnesota Wild (the opponent) fan behind us talking like he knew hockey to his date and he was soooooooo wrong on sooooooo many things if the game was more competitive I would have called him on some of the things he was talking about. But the high point of the evening was during the third period, your truly was flashed on the jumbotron and I took the opprotunity to flash my Shelley jersey that I was wearing, resulting in a small but noticable cheer from the crowd. In case you did not know, Jody Shelley was a fan favorite and an enforcer that was traded to San Jose last week. If only the Jackets could start winning some games and make a playoff push....
