Physical Traits: Human, if you don't count the fact he's a mage and all. A normal 10-year-old kid who just happens to surround himself in an impact shield of magic instinctively and frequently uses his magic to buff up his stats. He can take a whoooole lot of punishment and come out of it looking just like normal, and because he's not one of the female characters it won't even scratch his clothing. Wears the tiniest-ass glasses you've ever seen. Is occasionally 8 years older and smoking hot.
Medical Info: He's generally in tip-top shape, especially for a 10-year-old, but he's an absolute pro at fatiguing himself. Has nearly died a few tens of times, no biggie. It's entirely possible given how often he ditches them that he only wears the glasses to look like a respectable teacher. :<
Abilities: HAHAHAHAHA
Negi is a wizard-in-training and the main character of an Akamatsu manga. As well as knowing a full load-out of Western Magic (which is typically Greek or Latin-based chants bent to your will) he has enough of a knowledge of Chinese Martial Arts to kick the ass of huge swathes of guys bigger than him. And, if that weren't enough, he's typically running on spells to further boost his physical abilities. Carries around his staff at almost all times, which is big and obvious and why do these people not notice.
Also has one (1) super-huge if sometimes kind of unhelpful mafia CHISAME-SAN PLEASE STOP HITTING ME, one (1) annoying ermine (not present) and one (1) super pimp-aura.
The whole magic dealy I will try to get into in a later post if only so I have notes for myself, as the Negima Manga just sort of throws stuff out there as needed. Negi's enough of a little prodigy he knows spells up to and including killing demons and devils outright. "No saving throw, one hit kill? That should be illegal!" is a canon sentence, though not about that spell in particular.
Notes for the Psychics: There's a ten year old kid in there if you really catch him off guard, but at any given time he's kind of likely to be worrying about his students or thinking current events through or trying to solve the world's problems or more occasionally angsting about his past and his dad.
What's Okay To Mention: Negi is reasonably up to date - he's a little behind, but only by one or two plot points. Avoiding the most recent Magic World stuff could be handy until the cast figures out where they're up to date from, exactly. IF WE GET A RAKAN MORE LOLZ, COME TO CAMP RAKAN. Beyond that go wild; he can take anything in stride, and maybe worry about it some more.
Can I Shapeshift/Bodyswap/Spit At/Step On/Etc: Negi's polite but if you keep on pushing him he'll defend himself like a tiny whirlwind. For camp effects, ask!
Hugging/Kissing/Other Non-Violent Physical Contact: Are you kidding, he is the main character of Negima. Yes, always, against his will or not, he is a tiny 10 year old and even Asuna slipped him the tongue once.
Maim/Murder/Death: Nnnnnnnnnnno Negima is a happy fun manga though maybe if Konoka's around because of hax. Ask if you've got an awesome reason.
Emo/Angst/Drama: Absolutely. Negi is a fantastic sponge for your cares and will make puppy hang-dog faces and empathize and then try to help and then foul it all up further but it's okay because the sight of a little ten-year-old trying to solve the world's problems will somehow bring everything into perspective and you'll go on with life happier than before. Trufax canon.
Cooking: Has lived on his own, so probably knows the barest fundamentals as long as he's got some cooking implements and maybe canned goods. Will leech happily off of Konoka's cooking. :Db
