So . . . Muffin is dead. They killed my account. Apparently, whoever hacked into it did some real unnice things and now they are closing it. I've spent the last week fighting this decision; to no avail. My suggestion is this: if you ever have something shitty happen to your wow account, just shove bamboo shoots up your anus until it rips. Its ultimately less frustrating and less stressful.
Anyway, I don't think I'm going to drop another $70 and kill myself trying to catch up with you guys. So, to all my WoW pals: I love ya and I'll miss ya. Good luck in all your WoW endeavors! Kisses!

The account has been identified as having been involved in the sale of virtual World of Warcraft content or Account trading and thus is in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. The recurring subscription on the account has been disabled to prevent further charges.

Furthermore, Section 8 states that "Blizzard does not recognize the transfer of Accounts. You may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, and any such attempt shall be null and void."
As a result, the account will no longer be accessible in any way and will not be reopened under any circumstances.

Hi, I have some problems here that I would like to see resolved in some manner. On the 12th of March, I was notified by account administration that my WoW account was being closed due to illegal activity. The problem here is this: I hadn't logged on for more than a few minutes for nearly a week prior to that email, due to my work schedule. I have no idea what really happened, other than it had something to do with in-game items. I have played the game since open beta and have never done anything contrary to the EULA. I became concerned about this and sent a response asking for more detailed explanation of what went on and when. The response I received didn't really answer any of those questions. So, I was given this email through the Blizzard Account help-line.
The problem is complicated further by the fact that, in the past week, many of my accounts have been hacked into, including several fallacious charges on my Paypal account. Once I changed my account information on the effected accounts, I did some more digging and scanning in fear of a virus, key logger, or similar. After running various checkers I found no infection. I have never shared my account information with anyone; so, however the hacker managed to gain access to my account, it was the definition of illegal and nefarious.
Whatever happened that was deemed illegal that resulted in my account being closed was the actions of the one who hacked the account. It was his invasion of my privacy that has resulted in this situation. He was the one that perpetrated the illegal activity. It was not me, the account holder for years. So, what it seems like to me is I am being booted out of the game for a series of events that happened without my knowledge, consent, and out of my control. So, really, it seems like my account is being closed due to the unfortunate event of my account being hacked. Given this information, would it be at all possible to have my account reinstated? I have not done anything wrong, if someone has done something contrary to the user agreement, it was the hacker. Would it be at least feasible to investigate this incident? I really feel like I'm being crapped on here for, though it is a good reason, the actions of another person who was illegally accessing my account.

I have taken the time to reinvestigate the ROBEARBERBIL account and the evidence for its closure. Unfortunately, I must inform you that I have only been able to find corroborating evidence which reaffirms the previous conclusions drawn. The account was found to have been involved in economy exploitation with another account identified in similar activities involving World of Warcraft currency.
While it is not our desire to see the account closed, we cannot overlook the severity of the violation of the Terms of Use. The account will remain closed and will not be reactivated under any circumstances. Please be aware that this decision is considered final and the issue closed. Any further inquiries into the closure of this account may go unanswered.

I have said that during nearly the entire WEEK before I got the original email regarding my account's closure I WAS UNABLE TO LOG IN! That means I DID NOT COMMIT THE CRIMES FOR WHICH YOU ARE PUNISHING ME. Basically, you are fucking me over because I had the unfortunate experience of having my account hijacked. Wow, thanks alot! I'm not saying that those actions didn't occur through my account. What I am saying is me, THE FUCKING ACCOUNT HOLDER, was neither aware of the actions or condoned them in anyway.
