Matt is trying TOO hard to be Gene. Hint: NO ONE can duplicate Gene Wilder, so you shouldn't even try. Hell, be Ferris Bueller, since you don't seem to have any other characters, but don't try to be Gene.
I normally detest Will Farrell, but I think I like him in this. At times he seems to be trying to be Kenneth Mars, but most of what I'm seeing is his own interpretation.
