The army chaplain's idea of psychology. Um, yeah. Kinda figured that. Basically, his advice for my depression was more church and I'd get over when I get into class. If I get into class. If I don't, I'm supposed to come back for more advice. *sigh* Granted, he's not a trained psychologist, but he told me I was just homesick and I shouldn't seek counselling elsewhere because they'd just drug me. And I got the feeling that his main goal was to get more people to come to his church service instead of the general Protestant one every Sunday. I think I'll try my hand with traditional medicine when I can get an appointment. All though two of my DS are gone, so setting one up could be an experience in and of itself. Oiy. I'm waiting for my mom to call me so I can let her know how it went. She was convinced the chaplain would know exactly how to help. Unfortunately, not so much.
